First day at "God's Own Campus"

First day at "God's Own Campus"

The first time I came to NITIE was during my GDPI process. I came in an auto-rickshaw and he dropped me directly to the Academic Building. After my selection process was over, I left the campus immediately.

But when I came again to the campus (this time for taking admission) I left my auto-rickshaw on the main gate of NITIE. From there I started walking towards the Academic Building and what I saw in front of me was STAIRS and when I started moving my neck upwards to see where it ends, to my horror I realized that there was no ending to it, it was touching sky. Further I realized that I am carrying luggage with me, 1 bag on shoulders and 2 in hands. Still I took a deep breath and started climbing and counting the stairs. While climbing when I was at the 40th , I realized that I was running short of water and at that time I could say it for sure that climbing these stairs was even harder than to cross Great Wall of China.

At last I climbed all the steps and my count stopped at 96. I felt ecstatic as if I have won a lost battle but this happiness was momentary because I was still at the GROUND FLOOR and I had to go on the 4th floor…
Classes started from 17th June, 2013 and I was mesmerized by the teaching skills of our first lecturer, Business Statistics Faculty Prof. Sachin Kamble. Then came Communication Lecture but the faculty was on leave so Marketing Management faculty Prof. Sanjeev Verma came and said that he will be taking the lecture of marketing for the next 4hrs and we all were stunned . But he had such a great style of teaching that our tired brain was refilled with enthusiasm and energy.
This is how our day in the college ended but there was more to come on the next day….and that was Dr. Mandi but this will be discussed in the subsequent blogs till then good bye and have fun...
to be continued…
